Part 1: Hiding and Revealing in the Book of Esther

Dr. Ace Leveen will discuss how questions of identity move the plot along in the book of Esther in fascinating ways. Stay tuned for how a crisis puts Esther at a crossroads when she chooses to reveal who she is to the king. Dr. Leveen will speak briefly during shul and then again after Kiddush in the Library.

Sour Dough Bread Baking
Sunday, March 9 | 2:00-4:00 PM, Kitchen
CSAIR is proud to present Arnie Adler, the Bread Baker of Riverdale, in his first kosher in person class on sourdough bread baking. Arnie will walk us through the 36 hour process of making a loaf of bread in just 2 hours. There will be printed handouts to help us bake at home and samples of the all-important natural starter. Each participant will get their own container and leave with a baked bread. Arnie has been featured on the Kelly Clarkson show. To learn more about him click here.
Registration is limited to 12 people. It is $45 per person.

Intimate Voices Annual Free Family Program

Interactive and informal program in the Taub Room, featuring explorations of selections of great chamber music, live and up close with Intimate Voices musicians who love working with kids. Designed for ages 5 and up, this one-hour program will also be enjoyed by younger children who are particularly drawn to music, and by adults of all ages. This program is also sensory/autism-friendly - all are welcome!
