Shalom Chaverim!

As part of CSAIR's ongoing and meaningful engagement with Israel, we are delighted to present Kan, a short piece shared with the community approximately every month that connects us with and relates to Israel. Kan means "here" in Hebrew, and it reflects our engagement and connection with Israel. There are times we have the opportunity to physically be "here" in Israel, and other times Israel is "here" in our minds and hearts. We're "here" with Israel when we actively regard and grapple with current Israeli affairs, culture, and events and when we embrace, support, struggle and disagree. Kan will offer us a chance to gain insight and appreciation for, as well as learn something new about Israel, its history, current realities, and people.
