Dear Congregation,

As you know, the annual Gala is a tradition that brings us together to celebrate and support our community. It is a party. It is a time to acknowledge contributions. And it is a time to focus on CSAIR's future.

Support the Shul - Support the 2024 Gala

The funds raised through the 2024 Gala will support CSAIR's general operating expenses. This type of unrestricted giving enables our leadership to allocate funds based on the needs of our synagogue.  Our goal this year is to raise $70,000.

I’d Like to Purchase a (Virtual) Gala Journal Ad
View the Gala Journal form to purchase a full-page, 1/2-page, 1/4-page, or list name(s).

Use these ads to thank a special person in your life; send a message of hope; celebrate a major life cycle or milestone, and/or say congrats to this year's honorees.

I Have a Plan to Celebrate

Celebrate Fully in Person

  • Partake in a buffet dinner in the social hall.

  • Program and Maariv (celebrating our honorees) in the sanctuary. There will be a masked-only section for those interested in the sanctuary.  After the program, we move to the social hall for dessert and an Israeli dance performance by Riverdale Rokedet, including members of CSAIR, followed by community dancing led by Ruth Goodman, the Director of the Israeli Dance Institute and instructor of weekly Thursday evening dance classes at CSAIR.

Fully Remote

The program will start at approximately 6:00 PM with dessert and dancing to follow in the social hall. The following choices are available for you on the registration form.

  • I will attend and dine in person.

  • I would like 100% of my donation to go to CSAIR so I do not need to dine at the Gala and intend on live streaming the Gala.

That said, if you are not feeling well on January 28, please stay home and take care of yourself.  Celebrate with us at home via live stream.  We request this on your behalf and behalf of the community.

FAQs

Do I need to buy a ticket if I just want to place a journal ad?

No. If you are not planning on attending the Gala, you can purchase an ad without a ticket. If you would like to attend and buying a ticket is financially burdensome, please reach out to Rabbi Greenberg, as we have members of the shul who have purchased tickets to share with others.
