Intimate Voices Presents...

2015-2016 Season

2017-18 Season

A Note from the Music Director

Sheila ReinholdMark your calendars for the ninth season of Intimate Voices! Our dates are set, and as we continue to work on artist and program details, we are happy to already tell you that Renée Jolles and James Wilson will return for the ninth straight season, and Carsten Schmidt (and one of his beautiful harpsichords) will join us in January for another wonderful Baroque evening. All this in our acoustically excellent home, the lovely CSAIR sanctuary -- the perfect intimate venue for experiencing chamber music of all periods.

We are also very happy to tell you that New York Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital, our first Corporate Community Partner, has generously renewed its support for the upcoming season. We are honored to receive this grant for a third consecutive year.

With the continued generosity of our audience and community in addition to this grant, we plan to continue our expanded outreach roster this season, again offering our Family Program in a sensory/autism friendly format to reach all families, and again bringing our music to classes at the Riverdale Early Childhood Center for children with special needs, as well as continuing our visits to area nursing homes and rehab centers to play for those in the community who are not able to come out and hear music.

We look forward to another great season of world-class music in Riverdale! So save the dates, and check back soon for more program and artist information. We look forward to another great season of world-class music in Riverdale! - Online ticket sales are now available.

Support Music for Kids and in the Community

When you subscribe to the Saturday evening series, please consider our Music-for-the-Community Package. We believe exposing children to the beauty and excitement of chamber music can inspire their participation in and enjoyment of music-making of all kinds for years to come. Our programs reach out to include all children and families, including those with special needs, through our free sensory/autism-friendly Family Program and our visits to an area special-needs preschool. In addition, we plan to continue our efforts to bring music to our neighbors in nursing and rehab facilities who are not able to come to our home at CSAIR—last season we returned to the James J. Peters VA Medical Center as well as several area nursing homes. But to make these community-building programs possible and available for all, we need your help.

Music-for-the-Community Package
$120: includes 1 subscription to our 3-concert season series, plus a $50 donation (tax-deductible to extent permissible by law) to help underwrite the Community Outreach Programs bringing music to area rehab and nursing facilities, and also featuring our free sensory/autism-friendly Family Program and concerts for special-needs preschoolers.
